If you are being accused of copyright infringement, it is most likely coming from one of two sources: Malibu Media or Three Strikes Holdings. These intimidating filings come as a result of someone alleging that you took, without permission, a copywritten piece of material (I.e. photograph, movie, book, etc). The plaintiff is often demanding exorbitant costs for reimbursement. The plaintiff must be able to prove that YOU took these materials without their permission; an IP address or computer that multiple people may have access to is not enough to prove your guilt.
